heaven awaits

The last time I talked to my grandfather, we talked about how we fished together for over 30 years... he loved fishing.. it was simple and many of the apostles were fisherman.  I told him that one day we would fish together every day.  I believe that now as much as the day I said it.
It is unclear from the Bible what Heaven really is..... and has been a continued debate for thousands of years. I'll give you my take.
God is too powerful for our understanding..... from what we do know.. all things started with a garden for Adam and Eve where everything was bliss.  No pain, issues, politics or hunger.... just enjoyment and beauty.  I think it is like that, but on a level of enjoyment so much better than Adam or Eve or Angels could imagine because we passed the test... we suffered for the prize....and the clarity of why things happened will be there for us to continue to praise the Lord.  Family and loved ones will be there... I'm going to go out on a limb and say that our beloved pets will be there. The unreal reunion of people that came in and out of our lives who were saved because of us will be amazing to see... and we see the people who helped us to be saved.  We will sit, talk and enjoy the company without any past hurts or grudges.
God's plan will be revealed to us..... I don't think we wander around for eternity... I think there is a job for us that we were groomed for through all the trials and tribulations.  I believe it fits our skills perfectly and as the new Jerusalem comes to the earth..... we finally know what perfect feels like.  It may be different...but I'm pretty darn sure about most of it.
